An Alarming Situation- Heart attack at the age of 25!!!

Hi friends’, this blog is the summary of the articles on how this modern world affairs affecting at such a young age which was not even prevalent a decade ago. These articles forced me to make aware my friends about the consequences of surviving in this dynamic world and how to tackle them.

Yesterday, I came across an article which states that India topped the list of heart attack patients. Believe it or not this is an alarming situation. The thing that shocked me the most was heart attacks cases were increasing among youth aged between 20 and 25.

Ashok, Age 23, completed his MBA From a renowned college, joined an insurance company. He was Punctual, Disciplined, Industrious, Ambitious and a High sense of Achievement. Very common ingredients which can be found in a Fresh MBAs’ (Serious). He worked day and night to achieve his targets in order to fulfill his dreams faster as compared to his colleagues. In the mean time, Because of such high pressure, he was not able to give proper time to food, Physical health, Family and Mental health. As a result, he was able to perform way beyond his actual targets but from inside he was becoming weak. His bosses were happy on his performance, All were shocked to see his achievement in a little time, some were happy, some were shocked, and some were jealous also. After 8 months of his joining, Ashok fainted in his office premise. He was admitted in nearby Hospital. After some examination and test, Doctor said that he had a HEART ATTACK.

So, How a youth at 23 can have his first Heart attack. This is possible now days. With mental and physical stress going up and zero level of physical Exercises.
Message to YOUNGISTAAN for improving the mental health:-

1. RELAX- Let go your tensions every chance you get. Forget yourself for awhile by becoming engrossed in a good book, listening to your favorite music, visit your local park and sit quietly among the trees, work on your hobby, mediating or gardening. Build some relaxation time into each day.

2. LEARN TO SAY “NO”- Read a book or attend a class on assertiveness.

3. DO IT NOW- Procrastination can lead to negative feelings about yourself. Waiting until you “feel like it” can sometime take forever.

4. BE KIND TO YOURSELF- People are frequently hard on themselves when things don’t go “right”. Instead of saying to yourself, “I m’ stupid, I’ll never get this right. “try saying, “I am alert and catch on quickly.” This helped me a lot, It’ll definitely help you too.

5. FIND A FRIEND- Expressing feelings and ideas to a friend can help us clarify what is truly important to ourselves.

6. ADAPT TO CHANGE- change is necessary part of life so be patient and allow yourself time to adapt.

7. EAT PROPERLY- My favorite. Nutrition has a lot to do with mentally positive. Limit your intake of sugar, fat, salt, caffeine and alcohol.

8. EXERCISE- Even a 15 minute walk three times a week does wonders for how you think and feel.

9. EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS- Going to a movie where others are likely to be laughing or crying can be safe way to express your emotions. Try recording your thoughts in a journal, or even write a letter to the editor of your newspaper.

10. REVIEW YOUR “should”- If you feel struck by something you “should” be doing and aren't, set a time limit by which you either have them done or get rid of them.

In the race of growing fast, topping the charts, performing better than the competitors, we are forgetting the real meaning of happiness and making our body suffers.

Above are all methods through which, one can bring a right change in his/her life and can lead a balanced successful life.

Friend's please share this with your friends, relatives and acquaintances.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

A TRIP TO MOUNT ABU

Today I had a great day. Me and my cousin went to Palanpur to my uncle house 150 km from Ahmedabad. Thanks to the ONGC 2 day holiday policy (Saturday & Sunday). I was really excited as I was visiting my uncle’s house after a very long time.
As soon as I reached there I was very happy to meet my cousin, aunt & uncle. Now a Question struck to my mind what to do next. Then I suddenly realized that I went to MOUNT ABU (A hill station) when I was small. I got the chance to rememorize the feeling of going to one of my favorite hill station.

MOUNT ABU is hill station 100 km from Palanpur. It Include 20 km steep route road Abu road to Mount Abu. Mount Abu is also world famous for its sweet “RABADI”. We had 2 cup each before going for steep route. The most exciting part, this time I got the chance to drive the car. As we have learned in our PROTON that “Always Grab the opportunity”. As I was a bit nervous, because I was about to drive a car after a long period. But I drove it nicely @ 120 km/hr.
Mount Abu is famous for one more historical incident. Maharana Pratap was onece visited mount for his war.

I saw “Nakki lake”. There is a small story behind it, people say that lake was built by the people with the help of their nails. They use to dig the lake with the help of their nails.

I also saw “ANADARA POINT” which was about 1000 feet above the ground. When I saw the view my mouth uttered only 3 words “what a view!!!” a view that I cant explain in words. Air was flowing at a speed of 36km/hr. Today I had a experience of what kate winslet and Leonardo Dicarpio had experienced in Titanic movie. off course my kate winslet was not there. I was standing at a tip of 1000 feet height, and was observing each and everything.

Mount abu is one of the popular hill station and one of the popular tourist place. Several tourists visit it every year. It also act as a source of revenue for the people. Almost I liked each and everything about mount abu its food, the people living there, antique shops offering antique things, sight seeing etc. but one thing I hate the most which is common to almost all the historical monuments in India.
The local people or the people belonging to that region are very careless and they take the importance of such a monument for granted. They make the surrounding untidy by throwing plastic bags and other waste materials. They write their names or their lover names on the walls. These things actually depreciate its importance. it also reflect the attitude of people.
A must visit places whenever you got a chance to visit Mount Abu: Honeymoon point, suicide point, sunset point, Delvada, Gurushikhar temple etc

Message to youngistaan:
1. Don’t show your creativity on our historical monuments.
2. These monuments has both economical and social importance. So don’t harm it.

At last, we returned home. I was too tired and had a great sleep. Now in the end it’s a small question from my side for Youngistaan regarding-“how to solve or reduce harm to our historic monuments”?

An Interview with Future (Widening of Relationship gap between Parents And their Offspring)

What comes to our mind when we come across these 2 word "youth" and "Elderly". Some would relate former with Energy, Aggression, Rebel, Revolution, Unrest etc and later with Experience, Orthodox thinking, Narrow minded, Resisting changes, Slow decision making, Unorganized, Rigidness. If we observe with the passage of time as western culture is becoming popular and popular now a days, relationship gap between youth and elders is increasing day by day. It is resulting in Nuclear families and several problems for Elderly people (Whom as per our Indian culture even in dreams we cant think of disrespecting them?)

Today my friends & I, visited a NGO, under a project given to us in Management communication 3.There we met Mr.Allan who is running a NGO called "THE GOOD SHEPHERD HOME" which is promoting a social cause and that is "Promoting Relationship between youth and the elderly". He clearly specified to us that his NGO is not "Promoting Old age Home".

At first meeting I didn't get the objective clearly and took it lightly. But I realized its importance on the next day When we conducted a Interview of his team.
His team comprises of 10-15 old age persons, Who conduct programs in schools and promote this social cause of reducing the relationship gap between the elderly and youth.

We first Interviewed MR. A.K Sapru. He is a Visiting lecturer. He is 82 year old.But I was amazed to see the level of zeal and enthusiasm with which he was talking to us.Really these people are full of real life experiences. He shared several pearls of wisdom with us.

"If some elderly in your family is not able to contribute financially, it doesn't mean that he is useless".

The second interview we conducted of a lady (around 75 year of age)who was left at an ashram when she most needed her family. Her son left her, when she was suffering from paralysis. Presently, she is in much better condition (Thanks to Allan sir). But I pity on her family.

At first sight, it was hard to believe that these things can also happen in country like India. But now it seems common, every now and than Newspaper is full of News that an old man has committed suicide under depression and loneliness or Elderly people leaving their homes etc.

Reason of widening of relationship gap:-
1.Promotion of western culture
2.Popularity of Nuclear family
3.Extra work pressure
4.No time for family

Message to youngistaan:-
1.Treat Elders as Human
2.We should not forget the cause of humanity
3.Old man are not a burden on society, Treat them as a normal human being
4.Experiences of Elderly people should be used for the betterment of the society
5.Don't use human as "junk" of any age
6.Indian culture should be followed and taught to next generation

If such a treatment is continued, Elderly people would be lost, and country's future would be on large stake. Elderly people are the strongest pillar of the society. Society can work efficiently in their absence. Youth should understand that there is a give and take policy system. The way they treat their elders.Their child Will treat them in the same way. Now it is in the hands of youth to decide.

I invite your suggestions to How to reduce this relationship gap.

INDIA 2050

"jitendranainani.blogspot.com"

PALAKKAD FIRST FULLY ELECTRIFIED DISTRICT::))
A very good news for every Indian. PALLAKKAD has become the first fully electrified district of the country. If Progress in India will continue at such a great speed we will definately be superpower by not in 2050 but by 2020. If the rate of asset creation increases, it will have a positive impact on Indian economy.

MAJOR PROBLEMS WHICH CAN STOP INDIA TO BECOME SUPERPOWER:-
1. Lack of Quality Education
2. Slow rate of Hard asset creation
3. Infrastructure
4. Irrigation facility
5. Corruption
6. Poverty
7. Variable changes

The above mention problems could prove to be a serious Hurdles for the growth of India. In my opinion It's not only the goverment responsibilty to remove such obstacles, but the country like ours whose Demographic Dividend is so rich can do wonders.
